International Ferry & Flight Test Group
FERRY FLIGHT OPERATIONS
IFFTG has long-established relationships
worldwide with air traffic control providers,
fuel suppliers, airports, handling agencies,
regulating authorities, and others necessary
to the movement of airline transport category
aircraft. The experience and worldwide contacts
of IFFTG mean that all aspects required to
conduct a ferry flight in conformance with
international regulations will be addressed..jpg)
Ferry operations are conducted worldwide.
Flight crew licensing coordination with regulators
is routinely conducted by IFFTG to allow
the legal operation of foreign-registered
airplanes by its flight crew personnel.
IFFTG maintains flight operations and dispatch
departments. Because airline procedures and
manuals are insufficient for ferry flying,
IFFTG flight standards, procedures, checklists
and manuals have been specifically developed
for use in the ferry and flight-test environment.
Procedures and manuals comprehend the wide
range of engine types, avionics, flight deck
layouts and configurations that exist in
the marketplace, and anticipate operations
with inoperative equipment and systems.
